8️⃣Our Mentors
1. Overview
The GetGoated Mentor Network consists of experienced operators, builders, and industry participants who support selected projects through structured launch preparation and execution guidance.
Mentors are not employees of GetGoated. They operate independently but are approved to participate in the platform following a formal review and onboarding process.
2. Mentor Selection & Onboarding
All mentors are carefully curated by the GetGoated team.
While applications to become a mentor are open to anyone, approval is not automatic. Each applicant undergoes an internal review process, which may include:
Assessment of professional background
Evaluation of prior project involvement
Review of industry experience
Consideration of network and strategic capabilities
Alignment with platform standards and values
Only applicants who meet internal criteria are approved and onboarded.
GetGoated reserves the right to approve, reject, or remove mentors at its discretion to maintain platform standards.
3. Role of Mentors
Mentors provide structured support to projects that elect to launch through the mentor-supported pathway.
Support may include:
Strategic positioning and narrative refinement
Go-to-market planning
Marketing coordination guidance
Introductions within their professional network
Launch execution advisory support
Mentors must formally accept a project before engaging in structured support.
Not all projects will be accepted into the mentor-supported pathway.
4. Mentor-Supported Launches
Projects launching through a mentor benefit from the mentor’s individual experience, network, and execution insight.
Historically, projects guided by experienced operators tend to demonstrate stronger preparation, clearer positioning, and more structured launch execution.
However:
Mentor participation does not guarantee financial performance.
Mentor participation does not guarantee liquidity or token appreciation.
Mentors do not assume operational control of the project.
Project teams remain responsible for execution and compliance.
5. Independence & Accountability
Mentors operate independently and are not fiduciaries of participants.
Their role is advisory and strategic in nature. Responsibility for:
Smart contract deployment
Treasury management
Ongoing operations
Roadmap execution
remains with the project team.
GetGoated maintains oversight of mentor onboarding and platform standards but does not assume liability for mentor decisions or outcomes.
6. Commitment to Quality
The mentor framework exists to create a higher quality barrier for projects that opt into structured support.
By requiring mentor approval prior to acceptance into this pathway, GetGoated aims to:
Increase launch readiness
Improve structural integrity
Strengthen strategic positioning
Elevate overall project quality on the platform
Mentorship is optional but designed for teams seeking structured guidance and network access during launch preparation.
7.Mentor Compensation
For mentor-supported launches, transaction fees are structured to align incentives between the project team, the mentor, and the platform.
GetGoated charge a 2% transaction fee on the platform.
70% is allocated to the project team
20% is allocated to the mentor
10% is allocated to GetGoated
This structure is designed to:
Ensure the project team retains the majority share
Ensure mentors are incentivised to launch quality performance and are adequately remunerated.
Maintain platform infrastructure and operational support
Mentor compensation applies only to projects formally accepted into the mentor-supported pathway. Direct launch deployments do not include mentor allocation.
All fee allocations are transparent, disclosed and hard coded into the smart contract prior to launch.
